The simple idea at the core of this proposal was the recognition that if you carry a modern navigation receiver, as a matter of course, that navigation receiver has to have access to a very small and powerful computer to calculate your location. As the computer only needs to work at navigation for very short periods, the computer is available to carry out any other required function using computer software. That, in turn, made it possible to combine all the technologies into the smallest possible device.
From this simplicity, has been born a unique opportunity that has much broader applications, which, in turn, take us to the very heart of the latest wireless telecommunications industry.
The technology is already settled.

• Wireless communications exists.
• Navigation and Video technology is an “Off the Shelf ” product.

At this stage we are simply proposing to transmit a single video frame, (an electronic photograph), via a known carrier system where the single frame signal carries a notation of the user and the location of the transmitter. The navigation notation is simply; Latitude, Longitude - degrees, minutes, and seconds. - As simple as that! The control system simply has to take out the user and navigation notations and control the final display of the single frame and location. We control:

• The hand held transmitter.
• The software controlling the transmitter.
• The right to transmit to the base station.
• The base station.
• The base station software.
• The display of the information.
• The overall operating system.
• The total business concept of GPNS Global Portable Navigation Systems.

We have the opportunity to add our own proprietary software from the outset and therefore control the total business for the long term.
We are not in competition with the existing manufacturers. Our aim is to provide them with sufficient incentive to manufacture, using our technology, in sufficient quantities on mutually acceptable terms.

Now, our forecasts for the availability of the technology have come true!
