GPNS Corporation addresses the primary market in wireless communications -Personal Security. We will exploit strong patents and other intellectual property to create a fully international business that will provide a personal security service in every community world wide.
Many thousands of franchises will be created to service the need for local security base stations capable of receiving digital imaging and location data from a variety of wireless telecommunication devices. In this specific area of digital imaging, the content, (the image produced and related location information), has to be transmitted to someone who will provide an appropriate response to any insecurity of the customer.
We will take full advantage of the latest technology and will provide a service that, for example, will completely overlay the E911 service proposed by the United States.
Whether the market is personal security for the individual, or some form of corporate use, we see our role as creating this marketplace; the infrastructure of franchisees. These will monitor the base stations and sell the handheld transmitters and related products and will act as the meeting point between the user and all the suppliers for the GPNS personal security system.
We are not in the business of manufacturing products such as base stations or handsets.
Indeed, we feel that, as there are so many potential solutions to the product markets that we address, the user marketplace is the correct, final arbiter of the needs of the customer. GPNS Corporation will issue guidelines for compliance and will take particular interest in the quality of service delivered to our customers. But, beyond that, we believe that it is for the supplier to design a solution that meets the customer's needs. We agree that there are some specific issues; for example, transmission standards, location systems and local conditions that will make some product solutions more viable than others. But there is no reason to believe that these issues are in any way insurmountable.
GPNS Corporation believes that by throwing the marketplace open in this way we will drive a completely new market for a wide range of new telecommunications equipment and related software; that we will create the conditions for a strong, new, worldwide market growth for such products. We also believe we will drive the potential for new entrants where the offered solutions are competitive.
We invite potential suppliers to work with us to address the perceived markets we identify.
A side issue will be that we will drive the creation of a substantial number of completely new jobs and thus the invigoration of many local communities world wide.
